Importance of Internet Etiquette to the Society # 5

The Internet Etiquette is very important to our society. We never know when a person that you talk to online becomes hurt and feels insulted to something one says. We never know what will happen to a company's life if that is the case of the company. And we never know what will happen to the person's life.

For this study, I pointed out that without the knowledge of the Internet Etiquette, a person could make serious damages to a company or be at risk of endangering his or her life. The title itself, it isn't that convincing. But if you'll look into the topic more, it will help you realize that we shouldn't just neglect the Internet Etiquette.

As for the companies, without Internet Etiquette knowledge, someone could create corporate embarrassment and can drain the employee energy of a company. As for the life of the person, it's either one could lose his or her property, be imprisoned for his or her Internet Crime, or plainly, he could die because of these problems.

Think about it carefully. Issues have been circulating around the web. Many have encountered these.

So, if you want to live a life peacefully, the Internet Etiquette shouldn't be neglected and ignored.

Loser Like Me ( Keiter's Blog ) # 4

Link to Keiter's Blogpost: http://kjgleek93.blogspot.com/2011/03/loser-like-me-3.html

Yeah, you may think that I'm a zero
But hey, everyone you wanna be, probably started off like me...

Glee. Actually, I've been following the episodes since the first season of this TV Series. And I became addicted.

Keith is a certified Gleek ( Gleek = a person who loves to watch Glee ), and I am one too. So, we enjoy singing to their songs a lot. We usually look forward to every episode that they'll be filming just because of the songs. And this song is one of the best we heard.

"Loser Like Me" is one of the songs included in the episode "Original Songs". Every time this song plays, either on my laptop or on my cellphone or maybe even on another person's cellphone, it makes me want to sing along.

The song is also meaningful. And I agree what Keith said on his blog. Being bullied or being mistreated in any other way should not be considered as an obstacle or an interference for the happiness of one person. One should live his or her life to the fullest, being bullied or not. Because one day, as the song says, "you'll be screaming my name, and I'll just look away." ;]

A Change Is Gonna Come #3

I listen to a lot of songs. Sometimes, I like it. Sometimes, I don't. Sometimes, I love it so much that I want to listen to it over and over again. And sometimes, I hate it so much that I can think of deleting it on my playlist and regret why I even downloaded it.

Among all of the songs and all of the artists on my playlist, one singer defies them all -- Adam Lambert. He has been a favorite of mine since he joined the Eighth Season of American Idol last 2009. He always surprises the people with his performances, especially me. And that made me like him a lot more. His voice is just amazing.

His interpretation of the song "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke was one of his best performances. The song was written as a protest song to support the Civil Rights Movement during Cooke's time. During that time, the Black Americans were being degraded and this was written to promote equality of the races. As for Lambert's case, for being homosexual, this song suits him well.

In general, this song is for those who are fighting for their rights, when they are being degraded or being mocked by other people because they are gay, or because they are Blacks.

Well, people are still people. God created us equally, so why should the people bother? Right?

Well, nevermind the song, I love the singer who made this interpretation. ♥

2011's First Blog Post :D

Okay, okay. So, I haven't written my first blog post this year, so here it is. :)

First of all, Happy New Year Everyone! Haha! It's very late, and it's almost Valentines Day. ( Err :| )

I miss blogging. I don't know why. Maybe, it's because I haven't blogged for a while. Or maybe because I just want to let my thoughts out of me. We never know.

2011's so far, so good. Midterms are coming, and I'm going to get a lot more serious. Biology, Math51, English 2. Whew! I hope everything turns out good.

Time Check: 11:38 PM.
I don't know what I should do. Sleep, or just slouch in front of the laptop for a couple of minutes more.
Well, anyway, that ends my First Blog Post this 2011.

I'm going to write a lot more. Or maybe, an update everyday will be good? Better? :)

The Duka Bay Experience # 2

Have you ever been to Duka Bay? If you have, that makes the two of us. If you haven't, then... You surely missed a quarter of your life. Just a quarter. It's still High School, after all.

Being in Duka Bay was a once in a lifetime experience... Well, for someone like me. I usually don't get to go to trips like these. Since I had the chance, then why not grab it?

The trip was actually a requirement for us, Seniors in MSU - IIT Integrated Developmental School. During Science Month Celebrations, the school sponsors a field trip for the students once in a school year. I remembered, days before the trip, the whole Senior batch was busy because of DiscArte, a film festival in our school, which was also a requirement for our Information Technology subject. Everybody was deprived of sleep. And didn't really have the time to get ready for the trip. But, even so, everyone was so excited for the trip, sleep-deprived or not.

The assembly time was 4:30 in the morning. I got ready the night before the trip. I slept at about 10:00 in the evening, I think. And I woke up at about 3:00 in the morning. I arrived at school a bit late. When I arrived, the coordinators were already giving the instructions for us to follow during the trip. At about 5:00, each of us went inside our assigned vans. We were the lucky ones to have the van with the least number of people, while the other vans were full. We also befriended a Sophomore student who was assigned to our van.

The ride was, should I say, fun. We were all girls in the van, so we talked about anything and everything. We even had music jamming sessions that really made us enjoy the trip. And we also learned, that we'll be arriving at our destination in about 4 hours. We had no other choice but to... sleep. We couldn't chatter all the way, so we slept for the remaining minutes of the trip. We never wasted our time. We were sleep-deprived, after all.

It was about 10:00 or 11:00 in the morning, when we arrived at Duka Bay. It was cold and we didn't know what to do first. We just enjoyed the view and was amazed of the beautiful sight. It was also my first time to be in this resort with my friends, so why not enjoy it while I can?

Activities and games were keeping the whole batch busy. Each student was assigned to a group, a group in which the members weren't that close. The activities, by far, made the batch closer. It really showed that even those students who aren't that close can have teamwork and camaraderie in just mere minutes.

We did kayaking. We even did scuba-diving and fed the fishes with bread. We also watched the different kinds of fishes underwater while riding the so-called "glass boat." We even saw an underwater cave, which, I think, was pretty amazing. In the midst of these, we were able to witness a wedding reception, which was heart-warming.

And at 4:00 in the afternoon, the teachers decided that it was already time to go, so each and everyone of us prepared to go home. Each took a bath in the bathroom, while others who were finished had their time for picture taking with teachers and the view.

For the rest of the trip home, well, you could say that all of us were dead. Everyone in the van barely spoke. And each of us devoted the time sleeping.

By the time we arrived at school, that was about 9:00 in the evening, we decided to have dinner. For all I know, I arrived home at 10:00 in the evening. It made me feel satisfied. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. And the day ended in a complete success.

For Them # 1

"What do you think is your best asset?"

All this time, I've been thinking about it. What is my best asset?

But first off, what is an asset? I didn't really understand what it really means, so I asked some people about it. I searched for it in the internet, but, all I acquired were from the business means, not exactly what I wanted. At the end of the day, someone explained it for me.

"An asset, for people, is something or anything that other people see in you that is acceptable to them, either a physical feature or a special characteristic. When most of the people see that asset in you in the same, but positive way, then it's your best asset."

After that explanation, which was from that person's point of view, I finally understood what an asset means. Next problem. What is my best asset? Well, I'm kind of confused what to write and everything. And I really don't know what my best asset is. So, I asked again this question to the same people.

Some would say that my best asset is my eyes. Others would think, it would be my personality. And others think, my generosity. (Oh, really?) I'm still not convinced about their suggestions and explanations. But then again, I've been thinking, my best asset is the thing that I really want to expose to the public, and the thing that people would conceive as something that I should be proud of. And that would be...

My voice.

If I didn't have my voice, I can't make a sound. I can't talk and express what I feel. And most of all, I can't sing and expose my so-called "talent" in singing. I've been singing ever since I was 2. I've been an hyper-active kid during my early years in this world. And I've been loved by my relatives because of that little talent of mine. Then, I stopped exposing it until I was 7, when I came to realize, I can sing. I did it in front of my classmates in during my 2nd grade. Singing has been one of my hobbies since the I discovered it myself. But still, it isn't that exposed because I know, I'm not that really good at singing. Until now, I still don't have that much of a good voice, but I'm still proud of it. I thank God for giving me this "little talent" of mine and for this voice.

Most of the people around me, tell me that having this kind of voice is my best asset. And I think it fits. So, the next time someone asks me what my best asset is, I can be able to answer them directly...

Or maybe, just sing for them.

Fearless (Cover) by Me.

Okay. So, again, another cover. BUT!

I didn't hide my face. HAHA! I don't know. I just feel like it. :]

This is my take on Taylor Swift's Fearless. I like the song. And I hope I didn't murder it at some point. Well, anyway, enjoy. I didn't edit the music. It's just a straight video.

And yeah, the background music, I don't own. Only my voice. :]
